One way of saving some money is through buying used car instead of a new one, but sometimes if you do not have any idea on how to buy used car you may end up loosing more money instead. Keep in mind that buying a used car can be risky, because you might end up buying someone else problem and that is not good.

When you purchase used car what do you prefer, buy it from a used car dealer or a private party? But before you answer the questions finish reading first this article.

For some people, the most important considerations when buying used car is the price, they do not care where to buy it as long as it can give them the best price offer, however, they have no idea that the priced offered to them is way beyond the competitive price especially if it was purchased from a used car dealer instead of a private party. But why buy from a private party?

Private party is not professional in terms of deception when it comes to dealing with the customer that is why you can easily know if something is wrong, not unlike with the used car dealer which is professional at dealing with customer as well as good at deceptions and do anything just to get the customer decide in buying the used car they offer, which is why you can’t even notice when there’s something wrong, not until the car was bought.

Buying from a private party can be beneficial compared to a used car dealer, because a private party does not charged overhead costs thus assures you that you can have the best price offer.

Another thing is that, when you buy from a private party you can have the privileged of meeting the used car owner, meeting the owner is important because you can ask a lot of information about the car, such as how the car was being maintained, was it maintained by a private mechanic or by an auto repair shop, you can even ask the owner to provide you the service records of the car. Of course if the car does not have any service records then this means the car might not maintained properly, by this you can decide not to buy the car. Not dealing with the car owner is a big disadvantage, because a third party sales person is professional enough to make some offers that you cannot resist but still can provide them a good profit, even if it means of rolling back the odometer to increase the value of the used car.

So, when you are planning to buy used car it would be better to buy it from a private party instead of a used car dealer so as not to charged you with a cost that is unnecessary for the conditions of the car.
